The Philly Museum Education Roundtable meets every couple of months to discuss a number of issues facing museums and museum educators in particular. This month’s meeting, happening on Tuesday, January 14 at 5PM, will focus on museum accessibility and how museums can better serve guests with disabilities. This event will be a panel discussion featuring panelists from several area institutions.
It is recommended that you read up on a few programs currently in place in Philadelphia prior to attending the discussion. This include’s the Penn Museum’s Touch Tours and Please Touch Museum’s Play Without Boundaries initiative. To RSVP to this event, contact Jenn Reifsteck at jreif[at]upenn.edu.
The discussion will take place Tuesday, January 14 at 5PM at University of the Arts’ Anderson Hall Room 212. Anderson Hall is located at 333 South Broad Street, easily accessible by the Broad Street Subway and bus routes 4, 27, and 32.
