Amanda Walker-Fleming took a position in Guest Relations at the Philadelphia Zoo, which eventually led to working for Camp-In at the Franklin Institute. Amanda had gone to Camp-In several times as a kid and loved it. Amanda enjoys working with kids, and has a strong interest in science. Through her connections at the Franklin Institute, Amanda was able to get an entry-level position at Please Touch Museum and move up quickly from there. Amanda’s favorite museums outside of Philadelphia include the National Postal Museum, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Cape May County Historical Museum, and the Garden State Discovery Museum.
Fun Fact: While in college, Amanda participated in the Walt Disney World College Program, working in attractions at the theme parks and serving as an on-campus representative locally.
