Conferences are a great way to network,
steal borrow ideas, and learn more about our chosen profession. The annual meeting of the American Alliance of Museums is likely the preeminent conference for those of us in the museum field, and each year we look forward to the opportunity to attend. Unfortunately, for many EMPs, conference attendance isn’t very likely. EMPs are often not high enough on the totem pole to be sent on the company dime, and registration fees are often cost prohibitive (not to mention travel, lodging, food, and other such expenses).
With that in mind, Philly EMP is excited to offer it’s latest Hire Learning program: the AAM Follow-Up Panel. Join us on Thursday, June 11 at 6PM at the Franklin Institute to attend our own little AAM session. After a brief networking period, the panel discussion will begin at 6:30. Included on the panel are several museum professionals form the Delaware Valley who were in Atlanta for this year’s annual meeting. Come prepared with business cards for networking and questions for the panel.
RSVP here or by sending an email to phillyemp[at]gmail[dot]com.
